A Child Developmental Home (CDH) provides a nurturing and supportive family environment for children with developmental disabilities who are unable to live with their biological families. These children are placed through the Arizona Department of Economic Security’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and may require either temporary or long-term care. In many cases, the goal is to reunite the child with their biological family or facilitate adoption.

The CDH program serves children from birth to age 18 who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities such as Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Epilepsy. Each Child Developmental Home can care for up to three children, offering the stability, guidance, and compassionate support they need to thrive.

An Adult Developmental Home (ADH) offers a stable and supportive environment for adults with developmental disabilities who are unable to live with their biological families. These individuals are carefully placed through the Arizona Department of Economic Security’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), with strong collaboration from their families to ensure they receive the personalized care they need.

ADH placements are typically long-term, as they serve individuals in need of a permanent, nurturing home. The program specifically serves adults aged 18 and older diagnosed with developmental disabilities such as Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Epilepsy. Each Adult Developmental Home can support up to three individuals, providing them with the structure, care, and support necessary for a fulfilling life.

Empowering Abilities
& Enriching Lives

We provide in-home and community-based support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and our aging community so they can live their best lives. In-home services allow members to live as long and as independently as possible in their preferred home setting.

Our team of direct support professionals assists members with daily living activities, learning and retaining skills, and community engagement. Our goal is to support the whole person, adapting and catering our support to the specific needs of every individual and family we serve throughout Arizona.
